People with disabilities

Disability is a global term that covers physical and mental impairments, or any limitations encountered by an individual when executing a task as well as any restrictions experienced in everyday life situations. At Sodexo we ensure we recruit, engage, develop and make adjustments for our employees with special needs because our mission is to improve the Quality of Life for everyone.

We notice hundreds of things about our colleagues and people around us – their gender, their personality, their skills, their strengths but we might not notice their depression, or their back pain, or their migraines.

Sodexo has committed that by 2025: 100% of our workforce will have access to initiatives supporting the inclusion of people with disabilities.

In celebrating the United Nations International Day of Persons with Disabilities on Dec. 3., 2019, Sodexo has focused on raising awareness on disabilities through the initiative: Let’s take a closer look because there is more to us than you might think.
