Goa, August 20, 2020:

To combat the COVID-19 pandemic and provide quality care to the impacted individuals, the Health Ministry of Goa has been working meticulously to ramp up the healthcare infrastructure in the State. To this end, three dedicated COVID-19 hospitals have been set up to date. Building the right machinery to enable speedy recovery of the patients, the Ministry has roped in leading professional in the cleaning and food services space, to offer the right care and nutrition.

Sodexo has been roped in as the food services partner to take care of the Nutrition and Dietary needs of the COVID-impacted patients. According, Sodexo with its team of 200+ professionals will be responsible for providing therapeutic dietary services at these 800-bedded facilities, namely ESIC COVID-19 hospital, Margao; Sub-District Hospital, Ponda and any other COVID hospitals in the city till such time that the pandemic is under control. 

We are taking all necessary measures to prepare the state in fighting the virus and its spread. To cater to the rising number of cases, dedicated COVID hospitals have been set up and appropriate international, professional agencies and service partners have been roped in to ensure quality services for health & well-being of the Goan residents.
